Deep reds, pops of gold, organic & greenery galore are just what your Pinterest dreams are made of! (Mine at least! lol) When Brittney & Collin asked me to shoot their wedding day, I mean…I was doing a little happy dance. (no, I really really was!) I met Brittney & Collin several years ago when I was in college & attended the church they were going to at the time – they were on the praise & worship team & were just friends at the time…but fast forward a couple years later & they are one of the most adorable & in-love couples. Can I just say that I love how they love each other!!! Like…my heart instantly turns to a puddle of mush when I’m around them & can witness their love…it’s truly something special. Daniel was one of Collin’s groomsmen, so it was my 2nd shooter Laura & myself capturing the day out at Cherokee Rose – and it’s truly a day that I/we will remember forever. The forecast called for rain ALL WEEK LONG. I was hoping & praying for the best because I always want the best for our couples…but you just never know with mother nature. But what-do-yannow?! The skies & clouds literally parted & the sun came out in the early afternoon – woohoo! The storms decided to roll in after dinner…so we were able to move things into the reception area later on – which worked out perfectly!
