I was 7 years old the first time I stepped foot at Camp John Marc. A summer camp that “made you fearless & not afraid to face life”. CJM truly changed my life as a child & is a place that has made an everlasting impact on me…even to this day. And as the years have passed…over 20 years later…it’s a place that will spark sweet memories for me every time I hear the name.

Alli & Jack emailed me last November. As soon as I saw the name “Alli Gilmore” pop up in our inbox as a new inquiry, I immediately jumped for joy! You see, Alli is the daughter of the owners of Camp John Marc – Vance & Karen. They are the sweetest people on earth! Karen taught me darkroom & photography at camp when I was little! How cool is that?! I would sign up for photography class almost every summer & it was always something I looked forward to! 🙂 Alli was always a bright ray of sunshine at camp and a friendly face that everyone loved! When they decided to hire us for their big day, I couldn’t wait to be reunited with everyone & give them tons of hugs!!

Alli & Jack’s wedding day was perfect. Whether it was the fact that we all shared a sweet bond, the 4th generation bracelet that was handed down to Alli on her wedding day, her blush BHLDN wedding gown embellished in lace, the fun father/daughter dance that broke out into a choreographed number, the love Jack & Alli have for eachother, Charlie – the little flower girl fist pumping with ribbons at the end of the night dressed in a butterfly costume or the love of friends & family that surrounded this amazing couple – I’m not sure, but all of it combined created a perfect day & we couldn’t have been more grateful to be a part of it all. Alli & Jack – we adore you both & can’t wait to see you guys next summer at camp! Woohoo! xoxo, Chandy & Daniel
