I adore Gracie & Matt! They had a beautiful wedding nestled right in the heart of the Texas hill Country at Bella Springs in Boerne, Texas. It was pouring down rain ALL day long! Thank the sweet Lord above, about 10 minutes before the ceremony began, the rain stopped and the dark rain clouds calmly filled the sky…however, not one single drop rained on their parade! The ceremony was beautiful and afterwards, we had about 15 minutes of portrait time! The clouds started forming into crazy looking cotton balls and we knew we had to get a move on! Thankfully, Gracie, Matt & their wedding party were pros and we whizzed through all of the photos in a matter of 15 minutes. We finished JUST in time – then the rain began again while everyone partied and danced the night away in the oak-filled reception hall. As Gracie & Matt were finishing up their dinner, the sunset pierced through the windows of the reception hall and I just HAD to get a shot of them at sunset. It was still gloomy and dark, but the sunset made it’s debut for the day!

The sky looked crazy! Maybe like it was smoldering with flames…either way, it looked super cool and I’m glad Gracie & Matt were up for going outside for a couple quick shots!
