[…] Other than your food/venue rental, photography/video should be the biggest investment of your wedding. DO NOT SETTLE for any photographer. Do your research. Ask around. Take a look at your friends wedding photos. Do you like their style? Their lighting? Are they easy to communicate with? How is their personality? This is SO BIG ladies! Make sure that whoever you do choose HAS DONE THIS BEFORE! Just because your best friend is a newborn photographer doesn’t mean she will know how light up a dim dance floor for your first dance. And just because the photographer you use every year for  your holiday sessions said she’ll do it for a fraction of the cost, always, always, choose someone who’s done weddings before! I took a few recommendations from friends and other photographers and contacted them. After looking through their portfolio, reading reviews and visiting their websites, I narrowed it down to two. And the one I chose, was clearly the best choice! Chandra’s Collection Photography contacted me back immediately and her personality totally topped it off! She was spunky, energetic, and full of positive energy! She was excited for me and my big day and that made choosing her that much easier!
