When Shelby + Nick first reached out to us after finding us through our Instagram. After we chatted with them on the phone, I let our a shrill shriek when they told us they were getting married in Napa Valley! We double checked our calendar & told them we would be there in a heartbeat! After meeting them for their dreamy engagement session in Austin, we seriously just fell in love with these two! We had a blast at their e-session & to be honest, were so bummed when it ended because we had such a great time with them — but it wouldn’t be long until we would be seeing them again in a few short months on their wedding day at Auberge Du Soleil! We had a wedding on Saturday night in Austin & caught a plane early the next morning to head to Napa as their wedding was just a few hours away. We were somewhat delirious & tired as we were making the trek to Napa, but as soon as we saw Nick & Shelby…the exhaustion completely disappeared & was replaced with excitement! After their wedding day, I may or may not have passed out on our hotel bed with my blazer, slacks & shoes still on…but it was so worth it! Shelby & Nick & both of their families are truly the sweetest people in the world. They welcomed us with open arms & made sure we were okay, hydrated & fed…and we even got to pop champagne with Shelby, Addie & their sweet mom before the ceremony started. So fun! 🙂 You guys – we just had more than a blast with them & loved being a part of this sweet couples journey to the altar. Thank you Shelby & Nick for being so amazing & choosing us to capture your wedding day! We can’t wait to hang out with you guys again.
