Yesterday was the End of Summer Open House at Pecan Springs Ranch! I was soooo excited to be a part of this. For me, it was big! It was my very first open house for my business & I was just like a little kid on the first day of school…a little nervous yet eager to see what the day held! Pecan Springs Ranch has the best staff ever – so attentive to everyone and making sure all of the vendors had everything they needed for showtime. The turnout was great! There were so many other AMAZING vendors there  – everyone from florists, food trucks, cake bakers, caterers, videographers, wedding planners & so many more! It was a lot of greatness to take in. I was so impressed with everyone’s booths and it was great getting to network with some of Austin’s finest businesses. Once the show started at 3pm, I got to meet so many sweet couple’s and chat with them about their wedding day. Since I haven’t been to an open house before, I was unsure of what to expect. The over achiever in me questioned – Am I going to book 10 brides all at once? The realist in me then thought – this a great way to get my name out there to a lot of interested brides! After chatting with a couple of other vendors there, they said you could possibly book, but an open house is more of a place where brides go to scope out everyone and get your information/website & check out your work. So, I was just so excited to get my name out there and hand out my business cards! I made a lot of print products to give to my interested brides…and I was so happy with how everything turned out. After breaking down my booth and packing everything back into my car….I checked my email and I had a handful of emails from brides who just visited my booth earlier that day & were interested in booking!!! It was totally unexpected that they contacted me SO SOON…and they also had me doing a little happy dance in my car. 🙂 Overall, the open house was a wonderful experience & can’t wait to do another one! I just love Pecan Springs Ranch – the staff & venue…it’s truly a gorgeous place. I brought my camera because I knew I wanted to do a blog post to tell you guys all about it…but I forgot to take pictures until about the last 4 minutes I was there. lol But here are a few photos to give you an idea of everything 🙂
