Well, guys..it’s been a little quiet around here for the past couple of weeks – but with a fabulous reason why! LOL I decided to travel through Europe with my sister! It was totally on a whim…and yes, right in the midst of wedding season. When Trae (my sister) asked me if I would be willing to go a few weeks ago, my heart went pitter-patter in my chest – thinking that I could go explore the world & experience other places was so enticing to me! After all, I have been wanting to travel throughout Europe since I was a wee little tot and never made it happen…until now 🙂 Thankfully, the time that we wanted to go was the only time that I wasn’t booked with weddings! I let out a little shriek scream when I checked my calendar  & saw that the stars aligned and realized that I would be able to go! Yeeehaw!

We booked our plane tickets that day – we were going to be jet setting to London, Paris & Rome! Let me tell you, it was one of the best experiences for me. It also filled me with a ton of inspiration & also, taught me to not wait forever to make things happen…do it now! Make memories, set goals, explore the world – dream, discover, DO! We made it back safe & sound & I will be blogging about our trip soon in three different posts – so, stay tuned for that!!!! ALSO…………..

Tonight is our first official meet-up for Tuesday’s Together here in San Antonio! Woohooo! I am just super duper excited about this! It’s the first step to making waves throughout the San Antonio community & surrounding areas. This is a movement for all creatives – to help empower & encourage each other to thrive in the spirit of COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION! For all of you creatives in the industry – whether it be a fellow or aspiring photographer, a florist, a wedding planner, a boutique owner, makeup artist, stylist & etc – this is the time for us to come together! The creative industry has been plagued by bitterness, comparison & fear – but the times are changing & I’m here to stand boldly & add my little part to make a positive impact on this industry! It doesn’t have to be full of comparison, ya’ll. We’re in this together friends! In the words of Natalie Franke – we are so much stronger when we are united than we could ever be apart!
