Today, I’m thankful more than ever and my heart is so full! I don’t think that you should only count your blessings on Holidays like today, but Thanksgiving is a great time to really acknowledge things, even of the tiniest scale, that you are thankful for that you may tend to overlook throughout the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Here’s what I’m thankful for today:
– TODAY! Getting to wake up next to my husband and have a heart full of joy…looking forward to spending time with our family & friends. I couldn’t be more blessed! Let’s seize the day, ya’ll!!
– My hubby, Daniel! 🙂 It’s an impossible task to put into words the joy that Daniel brings me every single day. Everyday is a new adventure with him & the fact that he always makes me laugh until my tummy hurts never gets old 🙂 He has an uncanny way of making me forget about anything that may be going wrong in my day, always supporting my dreams and telling me I’m the prettiest girl in the world every single day without fail…are just a few of the million things that I will forever cherish about him. He’s my safe haven. He has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made & I’m so happy I followed God’s lead with this one 🙂 I could talk about Danny all day long…but I know you don’t want to hear all of the mooshy stuff, so I’ll spare ya!
– My sisters. My Brother. My heart, my best friends, my soul mates….I’m tearing up just writing this. Gosh. No one knows how much we love each other or could even scratch the surface to describe our bond. Jordan & Trae have been one of the greatest gifts in my life & I will cherish them until the end of time. I love creating new memories with them and spending our lives together. Oh, by the way – we’re identical triplets so we are basically alike in almost every way. *Quick Story* We will all go into a restaurant to meet each other for lunch and order separately – and all come to the table with THE.EXACT.SAME. meal. It’s so funny and it’s been like that our entire lives. 🙂
– My Grandma. One of my rocks in life. The one who helped raise my sisters & I & made sure we kept God first our lives. She always has a way to make things seem so simple when I want to complicate the crud out of situations! lol She just turned 80 and she doesn’t seem like a day over 21 🙂 She’s hip, she’s spunky, she has my heart and I am so thankful for her and everything she has done for me. She supports my dreams & encourages me to reach for the stars!! I have the best grandma in the whole wide world 🙂
– My family & my health!!
– A warm home.
– Getting to live my dream job! There are no words for how thankful I am for this. Two years ago, I would have laughed in disbelief if anyone ever told me that I would be a wedding photographer and be able to live my dream job. God is GREAT & nothing is impossible!
– Getting to work with my clients! I mean, this kind of goes with the above, but I am so thankful for getting to meet and work with amazing people…who always turn into friends 🙂 They’re my favorite.
– Sweet Strangers
– Lighting pumpkin fall candles throughout the whole house
– Reminiscing on sweet memories
– Coffee/amazing creamers 🙂
- Part B: Quad venti iced skinny caramel lattes – if we’re talking Starbucks. Yes, I’m crazy & get a quad :p
– Organizing! i.e. – cute stationary, calendars, anything that makes me feel more productive than I really am.
– Fresh flowers on a sunny day!
– Dreaming…BIG!
– Travel
– My pups <3 Charlie & Maggie
– Intellectual conversations.
– I saved the greatest for last – My rock. My Savior! The fact that He still loves me even though I don’t deserve it – I will never truly understand. He’s my main man <3
I hope you and your families will have a wonderful day together!! Stay blessed my friends!
xoxo, Chandy
