I don’t know what it is lately, but I have TOTALLY been getting into scoring old vintage finds and giving them a little makeover! I found this little number at an antique store in Fredericksburg, Texas. I paid $15 for it…no too shabby, eh?! Um, hello! I loved the old vintage look it had initially, but I really wanted to incorporate a little table into my office. My office is white, gold with pops of pink! Go figure 😉 So, I decided this would be perfect to paint white. I bought some rose gold paint JUST INCASE I wanted to add a little pop…maybe to the legs or something…but ultimately, I decided to keep it all white. After looking at it in my office, I think I may go back and paint the bottom block rose gold…we’ll see…but this is how it turned out and how it looks in my office. I love it so much! I love having a space where I can go into and work and feel inspired! Check out the photos below & see how I added this DIY side table into my office 🙂
Here’s the cost breakdown for this project:
Vintage Side Table: $15
2 Cans of Spray Paint & Primer-In-One: $13 ($6.50 each)
Total Cost: $28
I ended up using this Primer + Paint in one. I mean, so freaking easy it’s just kind of ridiculous. I used two coats of spray paint but I may go and add another one just to be safe. The paint was about $6.50. I bought two cans & used about 1 1/2 of them.
I added a cute framed picture, a flower arrangement, a couple of books and a dainty dish for my business cards.
Oh, and check out this awesome ceramic Elk head with the gold glitter antlers I found….I’m in love. I hung it just above the table.
