September Goals

Well, I’m late. And I’m a little bit more than just fashionably late. It’s September 10th…TENTH!!! Where in the sweet world did August go and I truly thought it was still the beginning of September! Remember when we were just wee little lads in elementary school and our elders would say…”where has the time gone?” …and we  I, would sluff it off and go play in our hour long recess which seems to be eternity? Yeah, well, I’m definitely in their shoes now and it tends to freak me out a little bit from time to time. lol So, August was a busy/exciting month for CCP (Chandra’s Collection Photography) and I may or may not be excited or lack there of for all of the goals I can mark off my list….here it goes:

August Goals rolling into September Goals:

1. Take a day off to do something creative!

2. Have a 1 to 2 week (or faster) turn around time for all of my clients.  (YESSSS! I am seriously so happy about this one)

3. Blog more of my sessions! No, really…I’m going to start blogging more…starting now. See…I’m already on a roll! 🙂

4. Order my new business cards!  (they turned out super cute!)

5. Attend my 1st Open House as a vendor. Yayyy! Can’t wait for this one!  This was fun – you can read more about it HERE.

6. Go to the winery with the girls. (So, apparently these goals aren’t strictly business.)

7. Order new canvas prints.

8. Print photos of my family & I – hang those bad boys in our house. ;)… wow, seriously…how have I really not done this yet?

9. Stay consistent with my editing style & blogging. 

10. Finish our DIY headboard & blog it for you guys to see how we did it! ….Haven’t even touched this yet. Womp Womp 🙁

11. Pay It Forward…some way, some how. It’s good for the soul. Can I get an amen?! (Even though I completed this goal last month, I’ll still be adding it monthly! 🙂

12. Speaking of getting an ‘AMEN’ – Read my Bible..every darn day! My sweet hubby got me a new Bible for my birthday on April 29th …you can totes save that date in your day planner if you want to..and I haven’t cracked it open nearly as much as I should have. I signed up for a 12-month reading program..and well, to be honest, I didn’t make it past week 2. I’m terrible getting better.

13. Update my website & create my “Raves” page that I’ve been meaning to make for the past 1,462 months.

14. Read a book…a really, really, really good book. (This excludes the Bible – it must be another one!) Any suggestions ya’ll?

15. Test out the video mode on my camera! I’ve been dying to explore this but it’s been on the very furthest, absolute back of the burner…but I’m putting it on my list because gosh dangit…it’s a goal that I want to accomplish and it’s not coming off of the list until it’s finished.

16. Find the perfect font that I will consistently use…ugh…why is this SO hard for me?! And you probably are wondering why I’m being so OCD about something so little as a font? #ArtistProblems

17. Eat healthy, workout at least 4 times a week & also drink more water for the sake of my kidneys. They say you can’t go 3 days without water…so, sometimes I wonder how I’m even alive after several days bc sometimes, I barely drink any water. It’s more like I have coffee flowing through my veins…but whatevs – Promise I’m changing that starting now! I’m crossing this off my list bc I started two weeks ago…and it makes me feel somewhat better :p

18. Learn Film. Shoot Film. Love Film. – This is going to take a while…but by gollie..it’s staying on my list until it happens.

19. Attend a workshop. At least 1-2 a year!
