Hi…is this thing on? LOL I feel like I haven’t been able to sit down and chit chat with you guys in a while! I have been kind of running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off lately!! So much to do – not enough time in the week to do it – yannow? This month I have seven weddings & five portrait sessions – so you can imagine how I’m feeling over here! Well, I’m hoping you can. I just have to remind myself – we all have the same 24 hours in a day as Beyonce! Am I right or am I right? :p

I am so thankful & absolutely love the busy months in my business…but sometimes in the midst of it all, you just need to take a quick step back, take a really deep breath…and tell yourself “I got this!” I’ve done that a few times last week & it’s made the world of difference – one step at a time! 🙂

Daniel finished his last chemo treatment last Tuesday…so we moved back home (which was sooooooo exciting you guys!!!) for atleast a couple of weeks! We go back for Daniel to get his PETscan in two weeks to see what everything is lookin’ like right now & praying & thanking the good Lord that everything looks amazing & Daniel is completely healed! I’m so happy to be back home…lighting my candles, cooking in our kitchen, sleeping in our own bed & getting back to normal with my love 🙂

Anywhoodles, this weekend I shot Lori & Joel’s wedding at a quaint little venue just north of Boerne on Saturday & yesterday, I got a day off!! I went to a fun concert with one of my girlfriends Laura – who is also my second shooter – gah…I just love how that worked out! Having Laura work with me the past couple of years has brought us so close & I am so thankful for our friendship – she’s so awesome! & Rachel who came into town from New Jersey also went & it was so fun getting to hang! We saw some great bands who I listen to all of the time on KLove radio! — Among The Thirsty, Unspoken, Chris August & The Afters! It was so refreshing getting to sing & dance our hearts out & praise Jesus! Afterwards, we grabbed dinner & chatted until the placed basically kicked us out because they were closing. 🙂 Hope you guys have a wonderful week!! xoxo, Chandy
