This. This photo right here could basically sum up all of the reasons why we love what we do. What we do is more than just “taking a picture” yannow? It’s SO much more than that. It truly boils down to freeze-framing time in a split second that would otherwise be gone like a fleeting gust of wind. It boils down to the MOMENTS & the people who are apart of them. This photo? Well, if we’re being completely honest here – it was 2pm & in harsh sunshine & this was the only spot on the property that would work for this sweet couples first look. It wasn’t “ideal” by any means in the technicalities of taking a great photo, but we made it work & worked with what we had. However, those technicalities seem to just fade away into the background and all we’re left with is the feeling & memory of this moment…something that we will NEVER get to re-live again. When I look at this picture, it takes me back to that very second last weekend when this sweet bride was completely & utterly beyond excited from being only a millisecond away from tapping her future husband on the shoulder to turn around and see her for the first time. I guess I just feel really, really, really honored that we get to be a part of such special, intimate moments in our couples lives…
