Last night was so much fun you guys! If you are a reader of our blog, you may remember me chatting about our Tuesdays Together group on here before! If not – I will refresh you on it 🙂 Tuesdays Together is a group for creatives who believe in “Community Over Competition” + sharing our victories along with our struggles of being small business owners. If you are a SBO (small business owner) – you know how lonely it can be sometimes when you are sitting in your yoga pants alone at your computer all day! lol It is such a great way to get out of the house, network with fellow creatives in the industry, but most importantly, it’s a wonderful way to network with people who also thrive on the community over competition mentality! Believe it or not – there are still so many small business owners who thrive on being competitive & who are so weary of befriending anyone else in the same industry as they are – and that’s just not how it should be at all! We are all so unique in our own right & we can all gain so much by letting down our walls & becoming a COMMUNITY of like-minded folks who can make waves through the creative industry in our city! 🙂 Daniel & I have gained so many beautiful friendships by leading the San Antonio group & we always look forward to our next meet up – which usually happens on the 3rd Tuesday of every month!

Whether we are photographers, florists, graphic designers, planners, videographers & etc – if we are established business owners or just starting out – we all have the same day-to-day struggles & we all ultimately have the same goals – run our businesses to the best of our ability while serving our clients in the best way possible! ???? Our meet ups are a great way to get out and get social – talk, ask questions, make big plans & anything else you can think of! If anyone may be reading this and would like to join our next meet-up, feel free to join our Facebook group HERE to get more information!

Above is a picture of our group last night! We chatted about a hot topic for so many SBO’s…PRICING! It’s a nitty gritty part of business and we hope that we helped those who are struggling with it! We are still learning ourselves what will work best for us & our business in the long run! A humongous thank you to Corey Clark – the owner of CO-LAB for allowing us to use his awesome space for our meet-ups! We get to lounge on couches & comfy chairs in a quiet place during our meet ups and it’s so much better than trying to squeeze into a coffee shop :p
